Emmy-nominated firm lays off seven workers

Television production company The Farm Media Group laid off seven employees last week, bringing to 14 the total number of people the company has made redundant this year.

Television production company The Farm Media Group laid off seven employees last week, bringing to 14 the total number of people the company has made redundant this year.

The firm, which was nominated for an Emmy earlier this year for its work on the Piggley Winks cartoon series, made the announcement on Thursday.

The company now employs 31 people in Dublin and 20 in its US office in Los Angeles.
