Emap stations sale delayed

A preliminary decision on the sale of Emap’s Irish radio stations to Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp has been set back by up to two months, after the Competition Authority sought additional information from the parties.

A preliminary decision on the sale of Emap’s Irish radio stations to Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp has been set back by up to two months, after the Competition Authority sought additional information from the parties.

The delay means that the final decision by the watchdog could now be delayed until next year.
