Elverys owners take legal action against Tesco

The owners of sports retailer Elverys have taken a multimillion-euro High Court action against Tesco, claiming breach of contract, writes Ian Kehoe.

The owners of sports retailer Elverys have taken a multimillion-euro High Court action against Tesco, claiming breach of contract, writes Ian Kehoe.

John and James Staunton, the owners of Elverys and Staunton Inter Sports, have taken the case against Pharaway Properties, an Irish subsidiary of Tesco that manages some of the retailer’s property holdings.
