Electricity supplier in €7.5m contract deal

Northern Ireland electricity supplier Powerteam Electrical Services (PES) has won three contracts in Ireland and Britain worth a combined total of stg£5 million (€7.5 million).

Northern Ireland electricity supplier Powerteam Electrical Services (PES) has won three contracts in Ireland and Britain worth a combined total of stg£5 million (€7.5 million). It recently began refurbishment work on several ESB-owned 38kV high-voltage sub-stations in Ireland.

Powerteam general manager Ivan McCartney said the company hoped to win further contracts with the ESB, as it prepared to rebuild and upgrade more than 150km 38kV substations in Ireland over the next five years.
