Electric Ireland selected as power supplier to HSE

Two-year contract is worth €85 million

Electric Ireland has won a contract to supply electricity to hospitals, nursing homes, regional health boards, charities, HSE offices and rehabilitation centres across the country. The two-year contract is worth approximately €85 million and Electric Ireland has committed to supplying one third of its electricity from renewable resources.

The contract follows a competitive tendering process and will include 1,900 meter points.
