Eircom.net leads in JNIR survey

The latest JNIR report generated some controversy after Yahoo.ie was relegated to second place behind Eircom.net, provoking queries about the components of Eircom's reported traffic.

The figures revealed a small increase in the number of people using the internet since the last survey in May, showing that 1.25 million Irish adults 39 per cent of the population are now online, a rise of one per cent.

Eircom.net attracted 845,000 visitors, followed by Yahoo! with 806,000.
