Eircom skips coupon payment

Eircom has not made a coupon payment to holders of its floating rate notes, "which constitutes an event of default under the Senior Notes Indenture".

Eircom has not made a coupon payment to holders of its floating rate notes (FRN), "which constitutes an event of default under the Senior Notes Indenture".

The move does not impact on the continued operation of the Group’s business, according to the company.

"All eircom and Meteor services and payments to suppliers continue as normal," said a company statement.
