Eircom shows class to win five-year university contract

National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway has awarded a €1 million contract to Eircom for the provision of a next generation communications platform.

National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway has awarded a €1 million contract to Eircom for the provision of a next generation communications platform.

Under the terms of the five year deal, Eircom will design, implement and provide support for new communications and network infrastructure.

The solution will have an Avaya IP telephony system and a unified communications platform linking all departments in the university’s new engineering building.
