EIB to lend €100 million for University of Limerick expansion

The European Investment Bank is providing a €100 million loan to fund the University of Limerick's four-year capital development plan.

The European Investment Bank is providing a loan of €100 million to fund the University of Limerick's four-year capital development plan.

The €224 million plan, which runs from 2014 to 2018, consists of 12 infrastructural developments on the university’s north and south campus, construction of a new clinical education research building and development of a city centre campus in Limerick.
