Editor’s comment: Comfort in the order of things
For three years, I held out against getting the latest version of Microsoft Office. I had access to an older version. And I liked the idea of cheaper applications (such as Star Office or Open Office).
Last month, I caved in and installed the Office Professional 2003. I love it. It makes managing e-mails and documents considerably easier.
Take its Outlook e-mail system. The core of this is the same. But little things have improved. Such as a small pane which appears for a few seconds whenever a new e-mail comes in, while I’m working in another application.
