Economic think-tank predicts 1.1% growth next year

Investment in the economy could be increased if the government begins to make use of the Strategic Investment Fund, which is part of the National Pension Reserve Fund, said a think-tank.

Investment in the economy could be increased if the government begins to make use of the Strategic Investment Fund, which is part of the National Pension Reserve Fund, said a think-tank.

The call comes as part of the Nevin Economic Research Institute's latest Quarterly Economic Observer. The institute is a trade union backed economic research organisation.
