EBS links up with GE Money to target near-prime mortgage market

EBS and GE Money have taken the first step in a possible joint venture to extend mortgages to people who normally have difficulty getting such loans.

EBS and GE Money have taken the first step in a possible joint venture to extend mortgages to people who normally have difficulty getting such loans.

A spokesman said this weekend that EBS and GE Money would in the next fortnight launch a pilot project in a select number of branches.

He said the pilot project would take place for six months before the lenders made a final decision on entering the market.
