Easyjet revenues, passengers rise

Budget airline Easyjet reported that its revenues rose 16.7 per cent in the last three months of 2011 as passenger numbers rose 8.1 per cent.

Budget airline Easyjet reported that its revenues rose 16.7 per cent in the last three months of 2011 as passenger numbers rose 8.1 per cent.

The company noted that comparisons with the same period last year were affected by last year's business being heavily disrupted by snow.

The airline flew a total of 12.9 million passengers in the period.
