Eason takes the e-book concept into its own hands

One of Ireland's largest booksellers, Eason, is planning to sell its own branded e-book reader, a basic device produced in China with an Eason logo.
Unbranded e-readers sell for under €50, meaning that the company could try to make a margin by selling it for closer to the €80-€100 entry-level price for branded e-readers.
The company's book-purchasing manager, Stephen Boylan, said that it was too early to comment on the device.
