€100m revamp for concert hall after state buys site

Ireland is set to get a new €160 million cultural landmark at the National Concert Hall (NCH) after a deal was reached on the sale of the Dublin site on which it stands.

The state is believed to have agreed last week to buy the five-acre site in Dublin 2 from UCD for just under €60 million.
