Dunnes Stores plans to reveal details of thousands of price cuts, which it claims to have made since the start of the year.

Dunnes Stores plans to reveal details of thousands of price cuts, which it claims to have made since the start of the year. The move comes after rival retailers Tesco and SuperValu announced that they had reduced prices since the start of May.

Dunnes, headed by Margaret Heffernan, plans to take out a series of advertisements in national newspapers directly comparing its prices with Tesco on hundreds of different items.
