Coffee houses were rare in Ireland when Noeleen Duffy was a teenager, a fact she was determined to change.

Her passion for coffee led her to take over the Irish franchise of Gloria Jean's Coffee, the speciality coffee brand, last month. She wants to increase her chain from five to 30 shops over the next three years.
