Up to a third of shops and restaurants on Ireland’s two busiest shopping streets are using wireless internet systems that are vulnerable to credit card thieves.

A survey by The Sunday Business Post shows that a large number of shops are using outdated internet security defences that are ineffective against novice hackers.
