Dublin is Europe’s 16th most congested city, with roads more crowded than London's, according to the latest Congestion Index from TomTom, a maker of satellite navigation systems.

Istanbul has emerged as the most congested city in Europe.

However Dublin drivers with a 30 minute commute waste 81 hours a year stuck in traffic jams, the survey found.
