Dublin house sales are to rise 15 per cent in volume and 40 per cent in sales revenue by year-end according to the latest forecast from estate agent Hooke & McDonald.

The agent predicted in its latest report that 11,500 residential properties would be sold in the capital this year with a sales value of €3.8 billion. That's after 4,984 residential properties changed hands in Dublin in the first six months of 2014 generating sales revenue of €1.66 billion.
