Dublin fashion week sales hit €1.5m

The 24 designers who participated in Dublin Fashion Week recorded more than €1.5 million in sales, according to its organiser.

The 24 designers who participated in Dublin Fashion Week recorded more than €1.5 million in sales, according to its organiser. The week is aimed at trade buyers who want to preview the spring/summer 2007 collections.

Sonia Reynolds, organiser and promoter of the event, said sales achieved by the designers increased by more than 50 per cent on the previous fashion week, held in February.

The number of buyers who attended increased by 40 per cent to 180, she said.
