Dublin City Council has been placed on flooding alert following a Met Eireann rainfall warning.

The weather service said that 25 to 30 milimetres of rain is expected to fall between 6am tomorrow morning and 6am Thursday morning, with much of that expected to fall in a 12 hour period from 9am tomorrow morning.
