Dublin auction sales fall to earth with a bang, while country houses pick up

Dublin houses failed to sell at last week's auctions. In contrast, almost all of the much more moderately priced country properties sold successfully, writes Donal Buckley.


After a fortnight where auction sales ran at more than €16 million, last week they came back down with a bang with total sales fetching less than €1.2 million and all of the Dublin houses failed to sell.
