Dublin animators in Roobarb revival

Dublin animation company Monster has won a €750,000 deal with British broadcaster Five to produce a new series of 1970s cartoon classic Roobarb and Custard.

Dublin animation company Monster has won a €750,000 deal with British broadcaster Five to produce a new series of 1970s cartoon classic Roobarb and Custard.

The original series aired on the BBC in 1974 and has since been televised around the world. In addition to Five, the new series will appear on the Cartoon Network in Britain and the US.
