Passenger numbers at Dublin Airport increased by two per cent last year to 19.1 million, marking its second consecutive year of traffic growth.

International passengers – both incoming and outgoing – increased by 420,000. Terminal 1 handled 10.3 million passengers while almost 8.8 million passengers used Terminal 2.

The growth was underpinned by a major expansion in long-haul traffic, which was up 16 per cent, while short-haul traffic increased by one per cent during the year.
