Dublin airport is "greening up" for St Patrick's weekend with all major buildings to be bathed in a bright green light from this evening until next Tuesday.

More than 225,000 passengers are expected to use Dublin Airport over the weekend, up six per cent on 2012.

Monday is likely to be the busiest day of the weekend, with more than 82,000 passengers expected to pass through the airport.
