Dublin Airport escalators get moving

Three of the biggest escalators in the country, weighing 28.5 tonnes each, are being moved into place at Dublin Airport this weekend as part of the €610 million Terminal 2 and Pier E projects.

Three of the biggest escalators in the country, weighing 28.5 tonnes each, are being moved into place at Dublin Airport this weekend as part of the €610 million Terminal 2 and Pier E projects. The escalators will link the new terminal and pier, which are due to be fully open for passenger traffic by November next year.
