Dubai Duty Free, which is run by a Galway native, raised $1.75 billion from a six-year syndicated loan to finance the expansion of Dubai International Airport.

Dubai Duty Free raised $1.75 billion from a six-year syndicated loan to finance the expansion of Dubai International Airport.

The company is run by former Shannon Duty-Free boss Colm McLoughlin. Now executive vice chairman at Dubai, the Galway native was part of an Aer Rianta team invited to Dubai in 1983 to start Dubai Duty-Free.
