Drinks industry groups have called for the introduction of mandatory age cards for everyone under 25.

Drinks industry groups have called for the introduction of mandatory age cards for everyone under 25.

The representatives of off-licence and pub owners were responding to the new Intoxicating Liquor Bill, which introduces restrictions on the sale and promotion of cut-price alcohol. It also means off-licences will have to close at 10pm, but makes no provision for ID cards.
