European Central Bank president Mario Draghi said yesterday that there were "certain fragilities" in Ireland that needed to be tackled.
He said the ECB council had not discussed Ireland's hopes of refinancing €30 billion in promissory notes at its meeting yesterday but said the matter was "under study". His comments were reported by Bloomberg News.
