Jobseekers in the US are coming under pressure to sanitise their online profiles as cyber vetting becomes an accepted part of the recruitment process.

More than 75 per cent of US businesses cyber-vet candidates, according to some reports.

Coupled with the advent of specialised companies that analyse candidate profiles for employers, the trend is taking hold.
