New jobs for glass firm

Derry firm Fire Glass Direct Ireland is estimating the cost of creating 40 new jobs at its Magherafelt facility at €1.2 million.

Established in 2004, Fire Glass Direct already employs 77 staff. It makes fire and safety glass products, including mirrors, double-glazing, office partitions and movable walls. It has also developed a range of toughened glass products for critical care and isolation units in hospitals.
