Donald Trump’s luxury Irish golf resort is in the rough

The Co Clare golf links and hotel records €2.5m losses

The golf resort and hotel owned by billionaire Donald Trump has recorded losses of over €2.5 million last year.

The golf resort was bought by Trump last year for around €8.7 million.

In its financial statements, TIGL Ireland Enterprises Limited, which operates the resort, cite the write-off of a number of start-up costs incurred as part of the acquisition of the business.
