Does the government care GSOC was bugged?

The story of alleged electronic surveillance at the Garda Siochana Ombudsman Commission (GSOC) is worrying and frustrating. It is worrying for the obvious reason - it is likely that someone was engaged in electronic surveillance of GSOC. It is frustrating because it seems unlikely that we will ever know for certain exactly what happened.
