Doctors campaign to stop cull of medical cards

GPs have stepped up their campaign against the cull of medical cards, with numerous doctors adding their voices to an online campaign on social networking site Twitter.

GPs have stepped up their campaign against the cull of medical cards, with numerous doctors adding their voices to an online campaign on social networking site Twitter.

Using #cardwatch' as the hashtag, GPs and patients are detailing the patients who have been affected by the medical card cull.

Some patients are only marginally over the income limit.
