Drinks giant Diageo, owner of Guinness, will come under further attack tomorrow over its sponsorship of Arthur's Day.
Drinks giant Diageo will come under further attack tomorrow, with the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland hosting a public meeting aimed at highlighting the dark side of the company's marketing initiative known as Arthur's Day.
Dr Stephen Stewart, a leading specialist in liver disease (hepatologist) and director of the Liver Disease Centre at the Mater Hospital in Dublin, said the RCPI wanted "to provoke discussion during a week when alcohol is heavily promoted."
