The number of divorces in Northern Ireland fell by 6 per cent last year to 2,362.
The number of divorces in Northern Ireland fell by 6 per cent last year to 2,362. The figures reflected a similar drop in England and Wales (down by 8 per cent) and Scotland (3 per cent down).
According to figures released last week by Britain’s Office for National Statistics, the overall number of divorces granted in Britain and the North fell from 167,138 to 155,052 - the lowest since 2000.
