Digiweb looks to Europe as expansion begins

Telecoms firm Digiweb is lining up a number of European acquisitions in the next two years, after clearing all debts and recruiting investment bank Morgan Stanley as a shareholder.

Irish telecoms firm Digiweb is lining up a number of European acquisitions in the next two years, after clearing all debts and recruiting investment bank Morgan Stanley as a new shareholder.

Morgan Stanley is expected to source additional investment to fund Digiweb's expansion. Colm Piercy, the Irish firm's founder and chief executive, said Digiweb was looking at acquisition targets in "greater Europe and further afield".
