Digital Realty Trust pays €36.3m for Dublin unit

Digital Realty Trust, which owns and manages corporate data centres and internet gateways, has paid €36.3 million for unit 9 at the Blanchardstown Corporate Park in west Dublin.

Digital Realty Trust, which owns and manages corporate data centres and internet gateways, has paid €36.3 million for unit 9 at the Blanchardstown Corporate Park in west Dublin. The company is already managing the 11,148 square metre datacentre, which is 90 per cent leased.

The firm has also begun construction work on a similarly-sized data centre on a 2.6-acre site in the Clonshaugh industrial estate.
