Digital Hub agency set to close

The government is poised to close the state agency responsible for the Digital Hub in Dublin, following the failure of the high-tech urban campus to cover its own costs.

The government is poised to close the state agency responsible for the Digital Hub in Dublin, following the failure of the high-tech urban campus to cover its own costs.

The government said the ‘‘longer-term viability’’ of the Digital Hub Development Authority (DHDA) must now be called into question, on the grounds that it is still reliant on annual state support of €2 million six years after it was established by former taoiseach Bertie Ahern....
