Another nail was put in the coffin of democracy, freedom and revolution last week when the Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, finally resigned as president. Now aged 122, it was felt that his best years may have been behind him.

Another nail was put in the coffin of democracy, freedom and revolution last week when the Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, finally resigned as president. Now aged 122, it was felt that his best years may have been behind him.

Castro has easily been the most popular politician in Cuba since the revolution in 1959.He has won every election since then, and his Communist Party has somehow always managed to stay in power.
