Diageo Q1 sales decline by 1.5%

Drinks giant Diageo has reported a 1.5 per cent decline in its first-quarter organic net sales, due to weakness and currency devaluations in emerging markets including China and Brazil.

Drinks giant Diageo has reported a 1.5 per cent decline in its first-quarter organic net sales, due to weakness and currency devaluations in emerging markets including China and Brazil.

The Guinness maker said however that it expects sales to increase during the remainder of the year.
