Diageo CEO's pay more than doubles

Guinness owner Diageo has more than doubled the pay of its chief executive Paul Walsh after a share allocation, according to Bloomberg News.

Guinness owner Diageo has more than doubled the pay of its chief executive Paul Walsh after a share allocation, according to Bloomberg News.

Walsh's total remuneration was stg£11.4 million (€14 million) in the year to the end of June, up from stg£4.4 million the previous year, according to the company's annual report.

Walsh received a stg£3.1 million windfall from shares issued under a performance plan.
