Development site sales soar in the first quarter

Up to 34 deals, valued at €160 million, have been closed so far this year

The development land market got off to a busy start in the first quarter of the year as up to 34 sites were sold across Ireland.

Research from CBRE puts the volume of transactions at 28 and the value of these at €350 million for the 26 counties. However, DTZ Sherry FitzGerald said the figures for the actual deals closed in three key areas: Greater Dublin Area, Galway and Cork, amounted to 34 sites with 350...
