Construction Industry Federation (CIF) director general Tom Parlon went some way towards placing a delicate subject on the agenda last week.

He was speculating about how developers would work with Nama in the future. He referred to a need for ‘‘workouts’’ and to see the business plan for Nama, an agency he hoped would be run on a commercial basis.
