Developer hit with €22m judgment

O’Rourke is the founder of Chieftain Construction, which went into voluntary liquidation in January, owing more than €50million.

In February, the National Asset Management Agency (Nama) appointed a receiver to O’Rourke’s firms in a bid to recoup borrowings it had taken from the Irish banks.
