Developer granted planning permission for D7 scheme

Property developer Bernard McNamara has been granted planning permission for a development of more than 200 apartments at the former Department of Defence premises on Infirmary Road in Dublin 7.

Property developer Bernard McNamara has been granted planning permission for a development of more than 200 apartments at the former Department of Defence premises on Infirmary Road in Dublin 7.

About 80 per cent of the apartments to be developed by McNamara’s firm, Cableside, will be for affordable housing.

As well as the apartments, McNamara will convert the former Isolation Hospital building on the site into a creche, offices and meeting rooms.
