Developer expects €25m profit from golf development

Multi-millionaire property developer Paul Monahan expects to make a profit of at least €25 million on his €46 million investment in a hotel, golf and housing development at Castleknock in Dublin.

Multi-millionaire property developer Paul Monahan expects to make a profit of at least €25 million on his €46 million investment in a hotel, golf and housing development at Castleknock in Dublin.

Monahan has signed up 100 members for the golf club, which opened last month, for an initial fee of €30,000 each and has received deposits from another 100 potential members.

The total take from golf membership fees alone is expected to raise €6 million.
