The full details of a complex international property fraud case involving Irish developer Padraig O'Halloran have emerged, involving the misappropriation of some of the €37.8 million paid by two Caribbean companies earmarked for a luxury hotel and resort that was left unfinished.
A judgment recently published by Justice Brian McGovern came after the companies sued O'Halloran for fraud over an unfinished $50 million luxury resort. He was ordered to pay almost €1.6 million in damages.
