Desmond seeks Moriarty judgment

Businessman Dermot Desmond has asked the High Court to rule against the Moriarty Tribunal for failing to file a defence to his claims that the tribunal ‘‘wilfully or recklessly’’ withheld information from him in a court action.

Businessman Dermot Desmond has asked the High Court to rule against the Moriarty Tribunal for failing to file a defence to his claims that the tribunal ‘‘wilfully or recklessly’’ withheld information from him in a court action.

In court documents last May, Desmond claimed the tribunal had failed to disclose key facts in a High Court and subsequent Supreme Court challenge which he brought against the tribunal in 2003.
